What: A community action group aiming to be a stable presence that can stem violence on city streets

Who: Led by Kenneth Mohammad and Walter Durham

How: Verbal conflict resolution and positive persuasion techniques as community outreach

Where: Volunteers based at Divine Grace Church and will concentrate on the Franklin Street and Eastern Avenue SE area.

When: Friday and Saturday evenings, 5 to 9 p.m., starting July 11 through Oct. 16

PATROLLING ORDERS

1. Take charge of my post and all property in view.

2. Walk my post in a perfect manner, always keeping alert.

3. Report all violations of law to my squad leader.

4. Quit my post only when relieved.

5. Give the alarm in case of disorder.

6. Consult with the squad leader in all cases not covered by instruction.

7. Be especially watchful at night.

8. Greet all people with peace and in peace.
